Executive Council: The National College of Physicians (NCP) is guided in its activities by a Constititution and By-Laws and governed by an 11 member Council. The President, President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and 3 Council members are elected by the Association's members. The Executive Director, the Managing Editor of the Society's Journals, and the Chair of the Program Committee are also voting members of the Council.
Annual Business Meeting: An Annual Business Meeting is held at which time if the membership elects new Officers, should any positions be up for election. This Business Meeting is held at the Society's Annual Convention, and members are notified of the details well in advance. The Business Meeting gives the members an opportunity to meet the national officers and staff, to share their experiences and views with each other, and to raise and discuss issues related to the Society.
